150. Why? Oh me oh my! © Hélène Levasseur

It appears I’m always asking the question starting with why
It always leaves me with chagrine why? – oh me oh me oh my
It’s because leaving the me myself and I brings me in despair
Cause what would the world do if I didn’t exist and really care

I know God really has a purpose for me in this world of wonder
Never does a day go by when I find myself in a state of stupour
I’ve decided to start my questions with a what, a when and a where
This will give me an answer with substance and I will become aware

Now there you have it all encompassed in a lovely nut shell
This will lessen the daily load and take me out of my spell
It’s much easier to live my life as it was grandly debonnair
Enlightening my whereabouts without a bothersome swear

Oh me oh my! No more whys. I’m thinking I’m entering into a life enchanting
Imagine asking God daily what He has for me that is really enlightening
Learning to listen to His coaching His teaching and His awesome rebuking
Self-absorbed thoughts are absolved and there is now room for growing
