101. An Angel Told Me So © Hélène Levasseur

IMG_0024

Just in this moment I immediately was told
That one of our local citizens was perhaps low
Perhaps feeling immobile perhaps in an imboglio

A little Cherabim or was it a Seraphim came
He asked me to say a prayer for wonderful you
It was to bring you balance and a true equilibrium

When two people argue it doesn’t mean
That they don’t care for one another at all
It simply means they view things differently

So the little angel asked me to bring the gift of fondness
So that you could soar in freedom and enlightenment
Making friends amongst the land longing for rooting

The angel prays for your inner long-lasting deliverance
From your cries and lamentations lurking in your midst
And brings you love and prayers from God Almighty.

100. A Living Spirit Within © Hélène Levasseur

Worshiping God

TONIGHT I FIND MYSELF IN AWE
PONDERING ON OUR SPIRIT WITHIN
THE ONLY ONE HOLY AND FRIENDLY
EMMANUEL IS TRUTHFULLY GODLY

THE HOLY SPIRIT LIKES TO CHITCHAT
I FIND HIM ABSOLUTELY CHARMING
HE IS GIVEN DELIGHTFULLY FREELY
TO THOSE WHO WELCOME HIM

WELL TONIGHT HE COMES TO THOSE
TOUCHED, ENCOURAGED & CHALLENGED
AS HE IS THE ONE WHO INSPIRES US
TO MOVE FORTH IN A RENEWING WAY

1. His Chosen Path by Anonymous – Music by Hélène Levasseur

Helene Levasseur

He chose this path for me
Not by feeble chance
Nor hard relentless fate
But love his love has placed
The footsteps here
He knew the way was rough
And desolate
Knew my faith would sink
With fear yet tenderly
He whispered “Child I see
This Path is best for Thee”
God chose this path for me.

Chorus:
What needs’t thou more
This Sweeter truth to know
That along these strange
Bewildering ways
Over rocky steeps and
Where dark rivers flow
God’s loving arms shall
Bear me all my days
A few more steps and
I myself shall see
This path is best for me.

Though well He knew
Sharp thorns would tear my feet
Knew the troubles I would face
Knew all the hidden dangers
I would meet
Knew how my faith would
Falter day by day
And still He whispered
“Yeah my child I see
This path is best for thee”
He chose this path for me
God chose this path for me.

Chorus

Even while He knew
The fearful midnight gloom
My timid shrinking soul
Must travel through
These towering rocks
And phantoms grin
Would meet
The frightened view
Still came the whisper
“Yeah my child I see
This path was meant for thee”
God chose this path for me.

Chorus:
What needs’t thou more
This Sweeter truth to know
That along these strange
Bewildering ways
Over rocky steeps and
Where dark rivers flow
God’s loving arms shall
Bear me all my days
A few more steps and
I myself shall see
This path is best for me.
